How to use the site

Registration and login

Step 1: Register for first time use

  · Select “Shareholder login” at the top right of the screen
  · Enter the email address you have on record with Fernwood
  · For first use, select “reset my password”
  · An email will be sent to you within 5 minutes
  · Follow the instructions to set your password. You have to do this
    within 2 hours.  

Step 2: Login

  · Select “Shareholder login” at the top right of the screen
  · Enter the email address you have registered with Fernwood
  · Enter your password and click “login”
  · You can select “remember me” to make logging in easier on return visits on the same device  

Making your weeks available to rent by other shareholders:

Once you login, you should see your remaining weeks for the year listed.

  · You can select which year you want to see your weeks for by clicking “period”
  · You can filter the weeks you see by selecting “viewing”
  · Click on the week you want to mark available to rent
  · Select the arrow next to “Reservation is” and change the status to “Available to booking”
  · Select the minimum nights you want to allow a shareholder to rent
  · Select your preferred payment method
  · If you select “directly into my bank account” you will be prompted to enter your bank account details to receive payment
  · Agree to the terms and conditions and click apply  

    Should a shareholder choose to rent this week from you, you will be notified by email.   

Renting from another shareholder

    Once you login, you should see your remaining weeks for the year listed.

  · Select the arrow next to “viewing” and select “available weeks” · You can select which year you want to see weeks for by clicking “period”
  · You will see weeks that other shareholders have marked as available to rent.
  · Select the week you are interested in
  · Under “reservation is”, change the status to “reserved”
  · Select the nights you wish to stay for (make sure you meet or exceed the minimum number of nights)
  · Agree to the terms and conditions and click apply
  · You will see information on how to make payment. This information
    will also be emailed to you
  · You need to make payment within 7 days to confirm the booking.  

Cancelling a booking

    You can still cancel a booking on the website before it has been marked as “confirmed”.
 
  · Select “My reserved weeks” under “Viewing”
  · Select “Reservation is” and change the status to “Available for booking”
  · Accept the terms and conditions and click “apply”
